No. The Town of Babylon has a strict code restricting dogs at town parks.

No outside food or beverage is allowed on Salt Shack premises.

After 6PM, Monday–Saturday, you must be 21+ to enter the bar area — or accompanied by a parent or relative. Guests under 21 can still grab food from any of our three outdoor spots: the Taco Truck, the Snack Shack, and Bango.

No — Salt Shack is a first-come, first-served, counter-service venue. For large private parties, we do offer catering packages.

For private parties we offer catering packages with a 50-person minimum — see Catering & Private Events. For smaller groups, our sister venue The Boat Yard specializes in more intimate events. We can occasionally accommodate smaller parties here, but availability is limited — give us a call to ask.

Yes! We host live bands and DJs throughout the season, plus daily specials and beach events. Check the Events calendar for who's playing this week.

Friday and Saturday bands start at 7PM, and the Sunday band starts at 4:30PM. Check the Events calendar for the full weekly lineup.

No — there's no cover charge. Admission and our live music are free all season (Memorial Day through Labor Day). Just come on down.

Parking at Cedar Beach is free every day after 4PM. Before 4PM, the Town of Babylon charges a parking fee.

No, you don't! Non-residents are welcome anytime. Note that paid parking applies until 4PM on weekends and federal holidays in season (and daily once the school year ends) — see the parking question above for details.

Yes. We want everyone to enjoy the beach, with accessible parking, accessible restrooms, and access to our beachfront seating and bar areas. If you have specific accessibility needs — including help getting onto the sand — give us a call before your visit and our team will be glad to assist.
